Creative Cranbourne Gardens

Creative Cranbourne Gardens

We were finally there, at the beautiful Cranbourne Gardens. The sun was beaming down on us as we entered the gardens. I was so excited… I couldn’t wait.As we were walking into the Gardens, I just embraced the sun and all of the other nature around us.

So when we got there, there was a lady and her name was Patricia, she was going to be our tour guide and she would lead us the way around the gardens.

So when I went down the stairs and in the Gardens there was a humongous circle with red sand and some slopes. There was also little circles with flowers scattered on the little Lilly pad.

So she took us to a place to have recess there was a big hill of flowers and tan bark that when we were sitting down we had a view of the hill. There was also a playground and a few logs that had drawings on them.

So when we were on our way to the weird and wonderful gardens we walked past the red oval, a river stream and we went over a bridge. It was really peaceful just walking down the pathways and looking at all the different type of plants. And on the way their she was talking about some aboriginal facts.

When we got to the weird and wonderful garden there was some weird looking rocks and then if you walked a bit further in front of you, you would see a big rock that was part of an activity. So the activity was like this, we had water and a big rock and a small rock. We put some of water on the rock then rubbed it on the big rock with the small rock. It turned out like paint, in fact that’s how the aboriginal people used to make paint. Anyway after we rubbed that in we put our hand on it so it we could leave a hand mark on the giant rock.

And then after that she took us around the garden, exploring new plants. In fact there was their own tree for a remembrance for people. I took a lot of really nice photos when we were walking around the place.

Then we came to a place that had door frames. Then when we got in we learned about aboriginals. Then we tried some lemon tea myrtle. I didn’t like it at all.

Then we had lunch, it was a long walk to get to the playground but we got there. I got really really dizzy.

So then we got to the activities we went in our groups with activities on a sheet. We had to do some silly activities like hug a tree. But my favourite activity of all was making a stick fort it was hard but pretty fun. At the end of the day I had a load of fun and learned heaps. I had a great time.

Hope you enjoyed my excursion on Cranbourne Gardens.
